1994–1999: Attorney Analyst, Michigan House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.

1999–present: Private practice representing both private- and public-sector employees before state and federal courts, as well as in administrative actions before the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”).

2012–2022: Outside Labor Counsel for the Association of Supervisory and Administrative School Personnel (“ASASP”), a 1,200-member union of administrators and support personnel employed by Prince George’s County Public Schools. Representation included administrative and disciplinary proceedings, contract negotiations, and advice to the union on all legal and policy-related matters.

2024–present: Outside Counsel for a multijurisdictional substance abuse treatment center. Advise the client-employer on its day-to-day employment policies, practices, and procedures, and represent it in EEOC, Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (“MCCR”), and unemployment hearings.
